Atux̂ Forever hired our first Linguist Assistant! We cannot be any more thrilled to have found Ms. Johanna Salisbury-Ferguson! She will be helping with our Saskinax̂ am Alaiim Tunuu. The first tasks we have been working on is extracting our language words out of a mixed-language dictionary. Ms. Johanna has already soared through this dictionary, which is so exciting to finally make progress with our beautiful language and our way of being. Our identity is coming back alive one word at a time....

This was and is the first Indigeneous led project on Atux̂ since 1942. I am so proud to have used my 'western' knowledge on our traditional homeland of Atux̂.
