Introducing Atux̂ Forever's Linguist Assistant!

Atux̂ Forever hired our first Linguist Assistant! We cannot be any more thrilled to have found Ms. Johanna Salisbury-Ferguson! She will be helping with our Saskinax̂ am Alaiim Tunuu. The first tasks we have been working on is extracting our language words out of a mixed-language dictionary. Ms. Johanna has already soared through this dictionary, which is so exciting to finally make progress with our beautiful language and our way of being. Our identity is coming back alive one word at a time.

Here is her Bio: Johanna is a speech and language therapist and linguist from New England, currently living just outside Boston. She has always been interested in minoritized languages and revitalization of endangered languages, and is thrilled to be helping Atux̂ Forever work with Attuan language resources. When she's not reading dictionaries, Johanna enjoys researching and writing about bilingual assistive communication, gardening, and spending time outdoors with her husband and their two sons.
